Happy Wednesday Pretties!!!

How many of you read my first "What I'm For" post last week?!?

If you didn't, do not fret!

This is only week 2 and you can join in the fun any time you like!!

I'm for laundry drying in the sun,

but when that's not possible,

the clean smell of detergent filling your house while it hang dries inside!

;-)

I'm for getting your teeth cleaned every six months,

buying gifts "just because",

and music in the mornings, just to cheer you up.

I'm for watching 40's musicals on late night TV,

the sound of my snoring dogs at the foot of my bed,

and skipping the house cleaning once in awhile to do something fun instead!

I'm for capturing memories in photos,

summer nights on the patio,

and always striving to be good at what you love.

The possibilities are endless!

So, I know out in blog land there are many bloggy parties on Wednesdays.

There are things like

What I WISH I Were Wearing Wednesday

What I Ate Wednesday

 Those are all very awesome link-ups. 

And someday I hope to link up to them.

Especially when I actually have a reason to look cute enough to take pictures of what I wore!

But, in the mean time I wanted to start my own lil party here.

Called "What I'm For Wednesdays"

If you haven't heard this song by Pat Green then you should definitely take a little listen!

Because he puts it best when he says:

"You don't have to guess what I'm against,

If you know what I'm for!"

I have to agree with a few of Pat's ideals.

(Why yes, we ARE on first name basis!)

I'm for Texas Margaritas,

I'm for wild flowers in the window,

and crackers in my chili.

I'm for drive thru order takers, who can muster up a smile.

I'm for having faith in something, that hasn't happened yet.

and 

The teacher, who see's God in every child, and never gives up hope.

(Now for a few of my own)

I'm for honking your horn and waving out of kindness.

I'm for front porch swings

and, backyard BBQ's.

I'm for sunny skies and warm days.

I'm for good friends that stay that way no matter the time or distance in between meetings. 

So, you don't have to guess what I'm against; if you know what I'm for!
